Return Policy

You may return or exchange most items sold by SportsKids.com within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, less 15% restock fee. Items returned without a RETURN AUTHORIZATION will incur a 50% restock fee (please see below for more information on this).

SportsKids will refund the full cost of the order, return shipping cost, and waive the restock fee if the return is a result of our error. Examples of "our error" include:

  • Item was received damaged
  • Item received was not the item ordered, in the sense that the wrong SKU / part number was delivered

Examples of returns SportsKids will NOT consider "our error" include, but are not limited to:

  • Item received is no longer wanted or needed
  • Item received differs in style details from what is pictured on the site. SportsKids makes every effort to maintain the most recent images of the products we sell. However, manufacturers will occasionally release an updated style, which replaces an earlier style, before providing us with updated images. SportsKids has no control over this, and cannot be held accountable.
  • Color details of item do not exactly match what is pictured on the site. Color representation is approximate. The same image can appear quite different on different screens, and can be recorded differently on diffferent cameras. SportsKids displays the best images available for each product offered on the site. Small differences in color between an image and the product it represents can occur.
  • Sizing issues. SportsKids wants apparel and other "sized" items to fit when received. Some items have sizing charts or similar information, and some do not. Those that do not are expected to conform to traditional standards. If you have questions about the specifics of a particular product, we recommend that you contact us ahead of time.

Returns or exchanges falling into the above, or similar, categories will of course be accepted within 30 days of delivery, but the 15% restock fee will be imposed, and our original shipping cost will be deducted from refunds for items that shipped via our "Free Shipping" offer. Also note that we cannot accept returns of certain items, including:

  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
  • Any CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened (taken out of its plastic wrap).
  • Any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged, or is missing parts.
  • Any item that is gas-powered or contains flammable liquids.

If you have an item that you would like to return you must request a return authorization. The most efficient way to do this is by logging into Your Account and visiting the Return Authorization Request page for the order and item you would like to return. Your login information for this area can be found in the original e-mail receipt for your order. If you have lost or forgotten your username or password, you can have a reminder sent to you from the login page. Alternatively, you may always e-mail us with the details of what needs to be returned and why, and we’ll provide you with a return authorization and further instructions on your return. Please note that requesting a return authorization by e-mail does not automatically enter your request into our system. It will be handled as quickly as possible, but using Your Account helps to automate the process, and you may get a faster response if you are able to use that option.

You must not simply return items to our address without a Return Authorization. Doing so incurs significant overhead expense and in such cases SportsKids reserves the right to assess a 50% restock fee covering reshipment to the manufacturer and related costs. The Return Authorization process is simple. Please take advantage of it if you need to make a return.

About Credits: Please make sure that you notify SportsKids immediately when a credit is due. If you return an item or should be credited for an item not received, then you will be emailed confirmation of a credit receipt. If you do not receive this confirmation please call our customer service number as soon as possible, as NO CREDITS will be issued more than 30 days after the date of shipping.

Reviewing & Changing Your Orders

You can review the details and status of any order you have placed via Your Account. For orders that have already been shipped, you can confirm the date and method of shipment, an estimated date of arrival, and a tracking number, if applicable.

You can also make changes to orders from SportsKids.com that have not yet entered into the shipping process. To make these changes, please
contact us.

Please note: Whenever you make a change to an order via Your Account, such as modifying the shipping options, address, or items, our system re-evaluates our inventory to determine the best fulfillment plan for your order given the new information. Therefore, any changes you make may affect the estimated delivery date for your order.

Wondering where your order is? If you have not yet received your order at all and think that you should have by now, visit the relevant order summary in Your Account. Here you will find updated availability information, estimated delivery dates, and even shipment tracking numbers when the carrier has made them available. Also, some products may take longer to ship than others. For products that generally take a bit longer, that normal time frame for that product will be included in the product description.
