Ice hockey is a fast paced physical team sport played on ice. It is the official national winter sport of Canada, where the game enjoys immense popularity. Ice hockey camps are meant to improve your individual hockey skills and expand your personal skills as a team player, on and off the ice. The boys are taught important skills such as skating, positioning, off-sides, quick starts and stops, team play, creating a good work ethic and good sportsmanship. The girls hockey camps focus on advanced skating/shooting drills, game situations, and team systems. Players, both girls and boys can improve their shooting and scoring power, along with stick handling skills. Some camps even offer a special session devoted to the secrets of scoring on the breakaway, hand-eye coordination drills and arm muscle building exercises.
