Bob Huggins: Cut & Fill Motion Offense (DVD)
With Bob Huggins, West Virginia University Head Coach; over 600 career wins; former University of Cincinnati Head Coach, '00-'01 National Coach of the Year, Conference USA "Coach of the Decade" (Cincinnati).
Coach Huggins' motion offense is based on cutting, reading the defense and back doors. He begins by using cones on the floor to illustrate the basic alignment of his motion offense. Huggins uses cutting drills and breakdown drills to teach the three major components of the offense: spreading, moving and isolating the offense. Huggins takes players through a five man cutting structure to put the offense together. When screeners call out screens, the cutter makes an intentional movement to get open. Demonstrated are on-ball and off-ball screening situations to give this offense spacing and variety, making it difficult to defend. Huggins provides everything you need to install this slashing offense.

Ben Braun: Two Guard High Post Offense (DVD)
Coach Ben Braun is a believer in motion offense with constant player and ball movement with proper spacing. This offensive philosophy puts a premium on good passes, especially to the open shooter. The ball must be delivered exactly to the right spot to give the shooter his best chance to make the shot. To develop this skill Braun demonstrates the 3-man, 2-ball passing/shooting drill. Other concepts that Braun presents are getting open on the wing, lobbing the ball over the top to counter the defender's position, the inside and reverse pivot, and the back cut and post up just off the mid-post area. From a two-guard front, Braun teaches the shallow cut and "X" move to get open and create good spacing. The high post player can be used effectively to get open also. By progressively adding players on the court, Braun creates an opportunity for players to "just play" by using the techniques he has already presented. In essence, just by employing these skills, any group of players could run an offense and be effective.

Stu Vetter: The Fast Break and Secondary Break (DVD)
with Stu Vetter, Montrose Christian HS (MD) Head Coach; USA Today National "Coach of the Year" (2x), 700+ career wins.
Coach Vetter covers the fundamental components to his fast break system, including the concept of 'dribble economy.' Vetter believes the dribble is over used and coaches need to address this issue with their teams. To make his point, he instructs players to dribble from baseline to baseline in 3 or 4 dribbles. From half court, he proves that one or two dribbles are more than enough for high school players. Vetter shares his in-bounds philosophy, which is the catalyst to the fast break. After the in-bounds pass, players assume their roles down the floor and execute their secondary break, which is full of great scoring options. Options include pop, corner, loop, follow and hold. Reading the break is a gained skill that can help your team to efficiently take advantage of any defensive mistake. Vetter makes a convincing argument for using the secondary break at any level. Vetter includes a number of drills to help build fast break drills. These drills use the full court and demand precision passing, catching and finishing - all in a game-like situation.
