Coach Joel Pallissard covers the teaching points, plays, formations, splits and alignments for the running and passing attack in the Double Wing Offense. Pallissard begins with the trap play by breaking down the hole-numbering system, player responsibilities and blocking schemes. This play and its variations can be effectively run against an even or odd front and is illustrated with game footage. Pallissard also breaks down his "bread and butter play," the 6/7 Power. The wing receives the ball as the fullback kicks out. Using game footage, each player's role is dissected. The wing goes in motion before receiving the hand off. It is key that the center cuts off any penetration. Other plays discussed include the 01 Roll play and the Sprint. Pallissard also includes the 50 protections, which is the short passing protection and requires players to seek and attack gaps in an aggressive manner.
