with Chuck Klausing, College Football Hall of Fame ('98); .821 NCAA Winning Percentage in 16 years as college head coach.
Coach Klausing believes that youth football should develop skills instead of an emphasis on winning. He begins by outlining the keys to winning football in high school. These keys include a family approach, team first, teach positively and teaching discipline. When teaching technique, Klausing puts a major emphasis on good running mechanics. He also includes 10 points to teach the art of blocking. When discussing strategy, Klausing diagrams the sweep, rocket sweep, jet sweep and swinging gate - all are simple offensive concepts that kids at any level can be taught. The last portion of this DVD is youth football in action.
