ALPS Mountaineering Synergy 40 Trail Day Pack is our only Trail day pack that has a full suspension. The back is fully padded and is supported with an aluminum frame and PE framesheet. A fully padded and contoured waist belt makes the pack carry great. The padded shoulder straps are curved for extra comfort. The large main compartment has an oversized #10 zipper for long term durability. The double side compression straps keep the contents stable. Two zippered side pockets were added for 2006 that give you even more places to organize your stuff. A zippered map pocket is located behind the front fabric panel. The side mesh pockets hold water bottles and snacks. Lower lash straps can hold a sweater or jacket.
