The optional Wheelchair Workout Manual provides for mainstreaming and rehabilitation.Each exercise is described through clear, easy-to-understand instructions with illustrations showing the muscles to be exercised. Students learn anatomy by locating muscles on the included, magnificently illustrated, 24" x 36" color poster. Simply list the number and style, i.e., 16 Light, 8 Medium and10 Heavy. Although recommended age groups are noted, this should be used for general guidance only. Resistant tubing can be used to meet individual needs; from difficult to easy, from lower extremity to upper extremity exercise, from dependent passive stretching to independent exercise programs, and from wheelchair bound students to ambulators.
